Why is my Davicom RTU stuck in “Pause” mode?
A Davicom unit would seem stuck in “Pause” mode when you connect because:
1- Someone has pressed the “Pause” button on the unit at the site and has forgotten to cancel the mode,
2- The unit went into “Pause” mode automatically because it has lost communications with a Modbus slave.
-
Do you want to remotely cancel “Pause” mode on a Davicom RTU?
“Pause” mode may be remotely canceled by a user with Administrator or higher access level. This is a safety feature to ensure that local technicians can inhibit automations during site maintenance.
-
Why is my Davicom RTU stuck in “Local” mode?
A Davicom unit can be in “Local” mode because someone pressed the “Local” button on the unit at the site or because a Supervisor put the unit in “Local” mode remotely.
-
Do you want to remotely cancel “Local” mode on a Davicom RTU?
Only users with Supervisor or Director level access can take control of a unit remotely and cancel “Local” mode. This is a safety feature to ensure that local technicians can lock out remote access and control of the units during site maintenance.
